Adding a rectangular stamp

The shape of the stamp that is mostly used on an album page will be the rectangular stamp. You can position a rectangular stamp on a page by pressing the button Stamp Rectangle on the toolbar “Drawing” and then move the mouse to the page. You will see that the mouse pointer changes into a cross .

Press the left mouse button when the center of the cross is in the right position. You can read the position on the status bar. If you keep the left mouse button down and drag the mouse the stamp will be drawn between the position where you clicked the left mouse button and the current mouse position. The toolbar "Dimensions" shows the position and size of the stamp during drawing.

Release the left mouse button when the stamp has the right size. You have finished drawing the stamp. You can now adjust the properties of the stamp or perform operations on it. See also "After drawing a stamp".

Note:

If you want to draw more rectangular stamps you can hold down the SHIFT-key when you press the Stamp Rectangle button. The button remains down until you press another button on the toolbar "Drawing".
